The Carbon Laser Peel is an advanced treatment designed to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, and rejuvenate the skin for a smoother, more radiant complexion. The process begins with the application of a thin layer of medical-grade carbon to the skin’s surface, which acts as a powerful magnet for toxins, impurities, and excess oil.
Once evenly distributed, a Q-Switched Laser is applied to the area. The laser energy is naturally attracted to the black carbon particles, causing them to break apart and effectively remove dead skin cells, debris, and buildup within the pores. This deep-cleansing action purifies and clears enlarged pores while simultaneously stimulating collagen production through the generation of thermal energy.

It’s essential to avoid sun exposure or any other form of tanning prior to a Carbon Laser Peel treatment and use an SPF30+ sunscreen every day
Prepare your skin with specialised skin care products, recommended for at least two weeks prior to treatment.
Avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinol, AHAs, and BHAs for at least 5 days before your treatment to reduce the risk of sensitivity.
Avoid heat or excessive sweating for 48 hours.
Do not use any active skin care products for 24-48 hours post treatment.
Use SPF30+ every day between treatments.

There is no pain associated with the Carbon Laser Peel treatment. During the procedure, you may experience slight tingling and warmth on the skin, which is normal while the laser pulses away the thin layer of Carbon.
Some clients will see results immediately post treatment. In some cases, Congestion such as black heads are brought to the surface and can be scrapped off immediately after treatment. The skin may also appear brighter in complexion. Best results are seen after a series of treatment.
Side effects are minimal after a ‘China Doll Peel’, with slight redness and tingling a few hours post treatment. Temporary hair removal to the treated area can occur, and some individuals may experience a mild outbreak the week following the treatment. Lightening of facial hair can also occur as one of the Carbon Laser Facial side effects.
Contraindications of carbon laser include, pregnancy and breastfeeding, photosensitising medications or supplements, Roaccutane, prescription topical vitamin A, real or fake tan within 2 weeks of appointment.
