Laser Vascular Removal

Even, Calmer, Balanced

Laser Vascular Treatment

Effectively reduce visible veins, redness, and broken capillaries with our Q-switched laser treatment. This non-invasive procedure targets vascular imperfections for clearer, more even-toned skin with minimal downtime and lasting results.

How Does Q-Switch Laser Work?

The Q-Switch Laser uses advanced laser energy to precisely target visible blood vessels and redness without harming the surrounding skin. This powerful treatment delivers ultra-short pulses of light that gently collapse broken capillaries and reduce vascular irregularities.

As the body naturally absorbs the treated vessels, redness and flushing gradually fade, revealing a clearer, calmer complexion. The treatment also helps strengthen the skin barrier and improve overall tone, making it ideal for managing persistent redness and visible veins.

Who is suitable for this treatment?

The Q-Switch Laser is also highly effective for treating a range of vascular concerns, including:

  • Vascular Lesions – Targets broken capillaries, spider veins, and small blood vessels, reducing their appearance.

  • Rosacea & Redness – Helps calm facial redness and flushing associated with rosacea.

  • Telangiectasia – Fades visible tiny blood vessels on the skin’s surface.

  • Cherry Angiomas – Minimally invasive treatment to diminish small red vascular spots.

  • Haemangiomas – Assists in reducing benign vascular growths for improved skin tone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. At Lilium Skin Clinic our staff are highly trained and certified in the use of Q-Switch Laser technology. The treatment is approved for the treatment of melasma.

The Q-Switch Laser emits short pulses of laser energy into the pigmented lesions to progressively shatter the pigment. The laser energy feels warm and prickly, but it is not painful. The treated area may feel a little like sunburn afterwards, but no downtime is needed.

Q-Switch Laser is an effective skin rejuvenation treatment for reducing redness, hyperpigmentation and pore size. This treatment can also boost skin regeneration, improve the appearance of acne scarring and create a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

Q-Switch Laser side effects are rare. Some people may experience sensitivity during the treatment or a breakout post-treatment as impurities are purged from skin. A very small percentage of people may experience mild bruising.

The number of treatments needed varies for everyone, depending on the pigment or melasma you wish to treat. In most cases, you will start to see the real benefits of Q-Switch after 4-5 treatments, and for the best results we recommend 10 or more treatments.

Pigmented lesions that have been removed will not return after your laser treatments. However, various factors such as ageing, changes in hormone levels and sun exposure can stimulate the occurrence of new hyperpigmentation which can be treated but not prevented by Q-Switch.

Q-switch Laser is known to be an effective treatment for fading and reducing the appearance of melasma and pigmentation. Unlike most laser machines, Q-Switch Laser is safe on some darker skin tones.
